They Draw and Cook - THE BOOK!

How cool is this? My recipe on TDAC is now one of 107 recipes in this book. If you watch this video, somewhere in between 1.21 and 1.22 secs you will see the page with my recipe.

In case you missed it, this is what it looks like....
Anyone interested in buying the book can pre-order it now for $13.43 as against $19.95. Not only does it have some really goofy, fun stuff, the recipes are also fabulous.

Holiday recipe on They Draw and Cook!

Not my best attempt, but my holiday recipe got featured on TDAC. Since this was a watercolor and a handwritten recipe as opposed to a computer generated one, the first 2 attempts were a disaster....spelling mistakes, wrong ingredients etc etc....so by the time I got down to doing a third one, the deadline was fast approaching and my nerves were pretty frazzled! Not making excuses...just saying.... :-)

If you have never visited their website, do so NOW! If not for the recipes, for the absolutely talented artists and illustrators who send in their drawings! So so inspiring!

Food for thought!

Yay! Another recipe of mine got posted on They Draw and Cook! Well, it's not really a "recipe recipe"...but you decide!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! And for those not celebrating Thanksgiving, there's always something to give thanks for! Enjoy the weekend!

Busy busy busy

In case you're wondering where on earth i disappeared to, I'm busy working on my recipe for TDAC's holiday recipe contest! Am doing a Diwali themed watercolor along with a recipe for Stuffed Aloo Tikki with Mint Chutney. So I won't be posting anything for a couple of days (hopefully the first sketch will work out). Why don't you join in? It's so much fun and completely low stress! Nate Padavick and Salli Swindell, the brother and sister team, who own and run the TDAC blog and site, are the coolest folks ever.

Oh happy day again!!

Ever since Vineeta of Artnlight featured this blog on her website, I was determined to do a recipe and send it in. If not for anything, just for the fun of it! So I did! and guess what???? They posted my recipe today on their blog!

Thanks so much Vineeta, for letting me know about this and thanks to brother and sister, Nate and Salli for featuring it!

My next post is all about food, so this is perfect timing!
