In case you haven't heard, Prismaa online magazine which was launched in April, is having a stylish home contest. So I thought since I was taking pics of the newly painted living and dining areas, I would take some new pics of the house and send them in for what its worth. I need to take new pics anyway...
But for you readers, here are those pics I promised you of the newly painted rooms. This was the color I picked, a sort of brown......the color in the photographs never looks exactly like it is. But then again, I have a very very basic camera and my photography skills are equally basic.....so maybe thats why! And it was a cloudy day so I had to turn on all the lights which gave it more yellowy look...but I do like it.

Love the dining table makeover.... the candle stands... and the framed art pieces.. .!! Love the buddha corner...!!!
What are those bowl-like flower holders on the dining table ??
Do send some close up shots of the walls , the buddha corner and the side table in the dining area to prismaa too... !!
Emreen...I am sending close up of all those things you mentioned. I have 60 pics to send them. I just didn't put them up on the blog.
Those bowls are some Indonesian wood bowls I have. I had some empty glass bottles, old spice jars, which are inside them to hold flowers.
beautiful is the word for these pictures. you are an inspiration to many of us Kamini.

I love the warm colors you have used, especially the welcoming yellow touches.
I've been away for so long....lots to catch up with what you've been up to.
love that yellow color...makes the rooms look warm and inviting...
Great choice,...
I am totally in love with your dining area.Beautiful, inviting colors.very welcoming home:)
Beautiful! Hope you win! What is truly ironic to me is that the two colors I just picked for my arts/crafts room (still being constructed) are the exact same colors as your dining area. Three walls with Behr Pyramid Gold and one accent wall with Terracota kinda color. Now I am even more happy with the choice of my colors!
Beatuful home, warm rich colors, beautiful blog...
found you through they draw and cook blog.
Thanks.
Yolanda
