Thank you!

A great big thank you to Divya at Sound Horn Please for her post on my artwork! Like she rightly says, I am an amateur. I am still learning to paint and have a long way to go. I paint because I love it. I like seeing the image I have drawn come to life with the paints, I like mixing colors and seeing the result...either a dull dirty grey or a lovely new exciting color, I like the smell of linseed oil and getting high on the turpentine fumes, I like being in a world of my own in my studio/sanctuary and I like giving the painting away when I am done. The pleasure I get seeing it through from start to finish is my payment!

Thanks again!

I agree and I re-emphasize the midas touch you have. How can I get them on my wall. Is it possible to buy and if so where.

Thanks Bedazzled. Shanthi...really don't have that many left to show or sell. Usually as soon a I am done someone wants it....earlier I used to just give them away, but now I charge just for the framing cost cos that's what is expensive. Where do you live? I have couriered to friends in India and abroad as long as they pay the courier charge too! E mail me (email link on my blog) if there is something you like...if I have it I'll let you know.

Kamini, I loved your work! Your originals are so beautiful, I dont think you are an amateur as you call yourself.. well.. all begin as amateurs and there are possibilities of ending up like gems if the interest sustains along with hard work:-)
