Mosaic Monday - bits of my home!

Sorry....was a really busy weekend - wedding shopping for my upcoming US trip, yoga, gym, cooking (almost sacked the cook, she made me sooo mad!), gardening, catching up on my sleep....so didn't have time too much time to spend on Mary's Mosaic Monday. But I did have fun creating this mosaic of a few vignettes and rooms of my home. I know many of you have seen pics but to see it as a mosaic is so different....it really gives a sense of what's going on as far as colors and theme and the overall sense or feel of it! Its like a mood board! As always and not surpisingly, orange seems to be a predominant color! There is no blue at all in any room, so that bright blue on the glass painting (an experiment gone awry) is throwing me off a bit......!

Have a great week all of you!

Thank you all for your nice comments! The wedding I mention is my son's wedding in DC on the 5th of Sept! He is getting married to his partner of 5 years...yes, definitely not your traditional Indian wedding, but I have been bangle shopping up the wazoo! Charminar doesn't have enough bangles for me it seems!!!! At the dinner/ceremony/reception....we are having lots of spangly glass and metal bangles in shallow glass bowls as centerpieces, with a hanging candle thingy - http://www.cb2.com/family.aspx?c=585&f=2447 - to illuminate the bangles! There are about 18 tables and I need 4-5 dozen in various sizes for each, so do the math!!! The idea is after the reception, the female guests can pick whatever bangles they want, to take home! You get some amazing bangles here in Hyderabad! I'll post some pics! I cannot let out too much more info on my shopping....don't want folks to know what I got them, so if curious, e mail me!
